On iPhone, Liquid Air Lab has developed over 200 multi-platform apps for the largest radio stations, 9 of them have reached #1 rank on iTunes App Store charts. Our apps have been downloaded over 3 million times. We also developed the #1 App Rick Rocketson, which acclaimed the #1 rank in iTunes App Store in 18 countries in January 2009 and has reached Top 5 in 56 countries.
Mobile Advertising Network
Our adplace.com advertising network delivers ads cross platorm and our advertising customers are brands like McDonalds, NOKIA, Loreal, Ford, Volvo, Seat, Microsoft and several others. We work with most of the top agencies and ad networks to deliver targeted advertising to our customers.

Having gained significant experience on all the largest smartphone platforms, Apple iPhone, Android, Blackberry AND NOKIA, we have decided to use our expertise to develop mobile radio app on both platforms, offering this unique turn-key solution to our radio partners.
Liquid Air Lab already runs adplace.com, the mobile advertising network, therefore we also offer our services in ad sale for the monetization of the apps we make.
History
Liquid Air Lab GmbH was founded in 2002 by Mikko Linnamäki (CEO) and Tero Katajainen (CTO). The company currently has 3 offices with around 20 employees worldwide:
- Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany

- Branch office in Berkeley, USA

CEO and Founder
Mikko Linnamäki, originating from Finland, is a serial web-entrepreneur, most recently founding Buchungsmaschine AG, a real-time travel booking engine, which was acquired by Travel24.com in 2000. Prior to that he founded HexMac Software Systems AG in 1993, which was one of the first Internet software companies in Europe. Since 2002 he is founder and CEO of Liquid Air Lab.

Mikko Linnamäki is backed up by CTO Tero Katajainen (MSc), long-time partner, co-founder and experienced Java Architect.

Yusuf “Zef” Cheema, SVP of Sales, who recently came from SPRINT, leads the US operations from our Silicon Valley location.
